What is it?
Counselling is basically the client being listened to in a safe environment by someone who is non judgemental.
How does it work?
We all know the theory that a problem shared is a problem halved. Sometimes, just having someone willing to listen is therapy enough but, by using a structured process, a client will be guided through the particular issue they need help with, enabling them to reach the goals which were set out at the beginning of the therapy.
